ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — On Sunday night, around 7:30 pm, the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a drowning on Logan Martin Lake.

The drowning victim is believed to be a 48-year-old male. He and his wife were out on a small fishing boat when they ended up in the water. She was able to surface.

Riverside Police, Alabama Marine Police, and the St. Clair Co. Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating the incident. The drowning reportedly happened north of the I-20 bridge on Logan Martin on the main channel.
